Where to report
Send problems or suggestions to the maintainer, with RMCL and a short issue description in the subject. The author's public profile also links current project information. Source code is not public yet; reporting an issue does not require repository access.
The project is a PoC and has no fixed response-time or dedicated support commitment.
A useful report
You can follow this outline:
Goal: import an existing instance.
Steps: selected the folder and started copying.
Actual result: the task failed while copying a particular file.
Expected result: a completed copy and a new instance.
Environment: Windows version, x64 or ARM64, launcher version, Minecraft version and loader.
Frequency: what happened when tried again.
Recent changes: mods, Java, proxy or folder changes.
Include what you already tried. Mention if only one instance is affected.
Gather relevant logs
Use error details and the settings' log and diagnosis actions to inspect available information. Preserve relevant lines around the failure. A game crash report and launcher task error may be different files; label the source.
Avoid only capturing the last line, but do not upload the entire data folder by default. If unsure about the relevant section, start with the error and time, then add what is needed.
If text is garbled, keep the original file and note the game version. Do not replace it with repeatedly converted text that has lost information.
Check screenshots before sharing
Look for:
- Account or AI API keys, tokens and device login codes.
- Private server addresses, conversations or world information.
- Your Windows username, personal paths and other windows.
Extra details for AI and skins
For AI, include the service type, model identifier, permission mode and the failing stage, without the API key. Share only relevant conversation and tool details.
For skins, include arm model, texture size, active layer and reproduction steps. Before attaching a project or reference, make sure you want its content public. A PNG and editable project carry different information.
Suggestions can be simple
Describe the player situation and the obstacle, such as “During my first mod install, I could not tell which instance was selected.” An idea is welcome, but no technical solution is required.
